This year Cora had a wonderful experience performing many new and exciting pieces of music by a range of wonderful composers. She had the honour of playing 1st violin with Crash in the opening runs in Edinburgh, Dublin and London of "The Last Hotel", Donnacha Dennehy and Enda Walsh's opera, and performances with Crash in Cork were particularly special: saluting the Solstice with the music of Bryce Dessner and Terry Riley at dawn at the Midsummer Festival, and the Safe Harbour Festival, playing music with and by Sam Amidon, Valgeir Sigurdsson and Bryce Dessner.
Cora joined forces with Aoife Ni Bhraoin (violin), Lisa Dowdall (viola) and Kate Ellis to form a string quartet. Their first performance included the premiere of Brian Bolger's Music For Ghosts, and they have a particular fondness for Terry Riley's Sunrise of the Interplanetary Dream Collector.
Yurodny got the crowd flying in the summer festivals, playing Knockanstockan and Electric Picnic where special guest Petar Ralchev, the legendary accordion player from Bulgaria.
